Fat Grafting
A fat grafting procedure transfers fat from areas in which you have excess fat, such as the outer thighs, and injects it into areas that may be lacking in volume
Fat is removed by Liposuction from areas of plenty, then injected into areas where it is deficient. The descent of fat and loss of fat volume accentuate the aging appearance of one’s face. By contrast the youthful face of a child has cherubic cheeks. Fat Grafting not only restores this lost volume, it also improves the quality of the overlying skin.
Fat Grafting involves the removal of fat by Liposuction through minute incisions. The fat is then prepared before multiple injections through similar minute incisions carefully placed in natural skin creases so as to conceal the subsequent scars. Fat Grafting works particularly well as an adjunct to other forms of rejuvenating surgery, but equally it can be used very effectively in isolation. Swelling and bruising are usually minimal.
